General Rules

The Finds Treasure Forum Classifieds is for individual use only with the exception of banner advertising buyers. Those buyers may advertise their traded in, discontinued models, etc.

Individual sellers may post their normal unwanted detectors, or accessories in assigned classified forums, but they  cannot exceed (1) one item in a (3) three month period for each classified forum.

Only For Sale, For Trade, or Wanted to Buy ads are allowed.

Only Forum Members Registered for  90 days or longer that have more than 24 significant posts in our other forums, may post For Sale or Trade ads.

Rules for Non Sponsoring Sellers:

  • Items for sale, or for trade, should be your own personal property and be accurately described.
  • Your for sale or trade post should be self contained, without references to another site where you may also have it for sale.
  • Do not put links to eBay.
  • Do not put links to other forums where you may also have the same item for sale or trade.
  • Dealers are not allowed to post in Classifieds unless they are a sponsor.

Advertisements not adhering to the above rules will be deleted without warning or notification.

Due to the recent number of complaints we been receiving as to why we disabled edit functions on some of the forums here is our solution. This was only done in the first place due mainly to the abuse that occurs in these certain forums with the edit function.

So your mean old local scrooge programmer who finds pleasure in making everyone's life on the forums hard changed the way the edit function works now.
Anyone still can continue to edit their own posts but only within 30 minute from the time the post was made on the forum. Once the alloted 30 minute time is up, the edit function will disappear from the post and cease to function anymore for this post. No one will be able to edit their own post 30 minutes after submitting a post.

With this change all forums, even the classified forums, will have their edit function restored with a 30 minute timer.

The edit function feature was offered for one purpose only. That is to be able to go back and correct any error you may find in your posts after you have submitted it and it will remain the only purpose for it.

if you can't correct a post in that time there's something wrong !
