I tend to use the se in boost a lot of the time any advice on disc & sens for that? I tend to search UK ancient sites so is that the best or should I go to other settings?

I run hot in All Metal. Boost on (allows for a slower sweep speed in All Metal), Sensitivity around 81 in both Disc and AM, Discrimination down around 5. It can get a bit noisy in trashy areas but it goes DEEP and will find good targets between trash.

try disc at 21 and 1+ tone in iron infested areas i got some good keepers that way dig every thing that give a good signal hh

Hello just thought I would chime in I have had several conversations with UK hunters I guess the general rule for plowed pasture. Would be disc. 7 2+ tones sens 75-80 and dig all whispy sounds and all repeatable non grunt tones grunts are iron hope this helps can't hurt the fellow I spoke with said he finds small hammered and roman coins and artifacts ill try to remember what site it was that I spoke with him on check youtube jacktreasure hunter. Good luck 2013season. Ct ps I know the question was re.. Boost process however he also said he only uses boost if there is tall grass or stubble or if he got an iffy I'd on a deep target
