Its a coin flip on any of the Explorers... it may come down to price and MLs ability to do repairs. There are a couple of things on the SE that i like... VCO, ability to pinpoint, and when in pinpoint you can get TID. I know people who hunt with the XS that sware by them and from their finds id agree. You just cant go wrong with your choice. Id say it comes down to the person using it more than the machine. Some people can just get the most out of their equipment.

All Explorers are very capable machines......it's more the user than anything else. Take, for instance, two guys who have Explorer SE's....both hunt the same areas, and nearly the same amount of hours, yet one guy consistently finds more old coins than the other guy does....that's the way it is everywhere... .the key is to pick one machine and get to know it very well.
