JUST LEARNING THE SE BUT IS IT NORMAL FOR MY THRESHOLD TONE TO GO AWAY AT TIMES WHILE I AM SWINGING AS SOON AS RAISE THE COIL UP FOR A SECOND IT COMES BACK.ALSO DO YOU THINK I AM BETTER USING IRON MASK OR SMARTFIND.I AM LOOKING AROUND OLD HSE SITES NOW FOR COINS AND BUTTONS AND BRASS ITEMS?
THANKS,JIMMY

Hey Jimmy, anytime you go over a disc'ed out target the threshold nulls.. if its constantly nulling your in the trash you have disced out... I recommend without a doubt is iron mask at its lowest setting or one nothch above, I think on the pro thats -30 or 31, or at least a pattern built like it.. and run in ferrous audio.. the iron will give low tones and you can dig all the rest till you get comfortably leaving them.....

only high tones on ferrous that are crap are hot rocks and tin.. you can get away with notching out the lower right side of the screen from about half way down without masking much..

it would look similar to this
