The Variability and Limits would change and reduce the tones. By adding tones i assume you mean get distinct tones for certain targets .... like nickels and pull tabs. The Etrac may have a little advantage in processing speed which helps in iron..... but a skilled expllorer user i dont think would say there is a lot of difference in how they react. The difference in the number of settings... like more IM or sensitivity may make a difference in how they are set up and respond, but not much.
