Sea Hunter 2

I just got mine in the mail today from a leading detector sales company. I wanted something I could take under water this summer.

I ordered the two coil package and only got one coil.

It also came with batteries already installed in the detector unit. For those of you who may own one of these units is that normal? It seems strange that it would ship with batteries installed. It makes me think it was a customer return or something.

I've already emailed the company and told them the same thing. I won't reveal who I bought it from until I find out what they have to say and how quickly they get my order straight.

Any input on what I should expect would be appreciated.

Sorry to hear you didn't get the second coil, but yes batteries are normal for all Garretts. I love my Sea Hunter Mark II, you will too if you just accept that you are going to dig alot of junk. I don't mind digging the junk. Good luck to you.

Thanks, I wasn't sure.

Since I plan on being away from shore a bit, I plan on digging whatever beeps. :)

If you have discovered any absolute do's and don'ts with this machine feel free to let me know. Any help is appreciated.

Regards
