Well i broke the find no gold curse today.I found a gold ball cap ear ring today. I am starting to figure out this PI Sea Hunter metal detector in the surf because i am digging less hair pins and metal objects now. Not because i am discriminating them out because you can not with a PI machine. I had to dig alot of junk to figure out where i should be hunting in the surf.

Nice going on the gold David. You are on the way now.
Some of that smaller trash gets swept away in the surf
while the heavier stuff will stay. Looks like you have that
figured out. You have a good detector to get the job done.
