SEARCHING FOR A LOST WEDDING RING !!!

Knocked off early today to search for a lost wedding ring I heard about. The owner will be contacted when and if I find the ring as have 30 others before.

I have been saving the local beach club for a day when I was up to the walk to access the beach.

I really didn't think anyone was hunting this beach because of the access issue, however after a couple of hours of searching with a few bits of junk iron, only

2 badly corroded quarters and a 10K ring dated 1946 and deep, I am sure this beach has had a "hunter" there ahead of me!!

I've put this one off for years thinking that limited access would keep out the other guys!!

There's a lesson here somewhere!!

Could you explain how that beach defines "limited access"?

Private beach club, "gated", posted, with security alarms on the property, a hunter has to get to the beach part of the property by boat or along an obscure

trail through adjacent property.

Fortunately the water is open to us to the high tide line.

I've purposely stayed away during "The Season" to avoid stirring any animosity and as I know some of the members and have spoken to the manager about

hunting for this ring, I don't expect any problems for my being there.

I get to a lot of private beaches because of other access to a lake. Sometimes by boat. Also a lot of sandbars on lakes. AS long as I am in the water and I don't touch the land nobody has ever bothered me.
