Seated #4 for the year...

She ain't pretty but it proves that park still has some more to give up. It's an 1860 and it was only about 3 inches deep tops. Found with the X-8 coil, ferrous tones, bottom 5/8 of the screen blacked out and one thin strip of iron mask. Funny, I've found 3 seateds at this park in about a week but just one indian...??????

Im still lookin for my 1st one.:detecting:

But are you kidding, THREE seateds in a week's time? That's impressive. There must be an absolute load of iron in that park if you're running that pattern coupled with ferrous tones. I have been experimenting with patterns myself and those settings may just be the ticket for some of the iron infested pits I wander into where I know there are some masked goodies that get passed by. Nice job on that 1860 Neal!

Do you hunt in digital?

My buddy really likes hunting in digital....but I just don't do well.

I have been switching real quick when I get a nickel hit though. If it says 5 on the conduct #...I'm a diggin' fool.

I haven't found one yet:bouncy:...but I'll keep tryin'.

There are only goofy sounding hits left at most of the parks I frequent anyway...so now's a good time to start trying to learn lower conductors.
