to give a better Idea of the site the seated dime came out of iI have made this vidio Bone hill vidio

LOL you are funny gunnar talking about not giving the knife to the kids because it is dirty. Then your like, " ..didn't hurt me last night.....and I'm ok" LOL I needed a good laugh. Don't loose your sense of humor. Great video thanks for posting. Question what kind of video camera are you using? I have one but even a 10 second video is 20mb. In the very beginning, you are facing a clump of trees and looks as if the road Y's off. This would be an area of interest to me. At the top of the hill does that old road end right there or does it continue out into the field towards that big lonely tree? That coil you are using, is that an 8" ? You were getting some nice depth with it. That is a strong little magnet you use and the magnetic particles in your ground is amazing. Cool vid.

I am using a flip vidio camera you can get even better ones for about 100 bucks that have Image stabalization, -- now the white underline is the old road going east and that is where the 1862 Indian head came out of , have to get my dad to scrape it off with the tractor and the tree between the red lines is just a box elder but I have not searched the earea ya we got to have some fun I like humer go get a flip cam they are great ohh the coil is the Minelab ts800 now in disq in this ground i get 6" deep on a dime it will not sound on the 7" dime but will null but in all metal i get 8" and 9" deep on a dime i was using it to clean the 1st 8" but it got down almost a foot and bigger Items

Great video, love the idea of the magnet on a stick. A must have!!!!

Pete

Thanks Gunnar for the camera info. Personally, another area I would concentrate on is the 1862 IH area. That would be nice if your dad could do a scraping! To me it justs looking like a very interesting spot. Another area I would be interesting in knowing more about is the area circled in red. Seems like a lot of activity or even possibly a shed or other outbuilding was in this area. Also, google shows a road (original?) coming into the property that goes right by the houses. are those ponds that run near the red line I drew?

This test you did with the ts800, are these on freshly buried coins? or are these coins that have been coins found out in the field?

no 1/8th is to thin two 3/4th x3/4th for a total of 3/4th x1.5 long they really have some Power round cilinder no hole but you can try somthing new maybe it will work better I have two stacked that why the nails really jump to it and any bits of crusty can it will get all of it so that good signal can break thru

Jim I think those magnets with the hole might just work stak two or three and cover them I may try that

That was my thought. Stack a couple and use a long screw through the center of the magnets into the wood handle.
