Second Explorer Outing

Well, did better today. Got sixteen wheats, four memorials, one newer nickel and one newer dime in about and hour and a half. The wheats were two to mostly four or five inches deep...one might have been closer to seven inches deep. I'm pretty sure I would have gotten them with any of my other detectors, but still it was nice to get them with the new explorer. I keyed in on the type of pull tabs in the area pretty quick and it wasn't long before I could predict one was coming pretty consistently. I tended to just go by the sounds. Was wondering that since most advise going by the sounds and not looking at the screen, why not just use a Sov? Is it because of the Explorer's different adjustments and iron mask feature? Just wondering since I'm new to the detector. Thanks again for all the help...I'm gonna need it. Ray Hogan in Waco, TX.

That is a lot of Wheats! Keep pounding away at that site and you should land some nice Silver from it. Congrat's and Good Luck and HH.
