Second gold ring!

I had a chance to hunt the site of an old schoolhouse the other weekend. A modern elementary school is there now. It was slim pickins for the first couple hours I was there, so I decided to move over to the baseball field. As soonn as I put my detector to the ground and started walking, I got a sweet sounding target under the coil. It was as soild 24 and the numbers and tone did not fluctuate. I dug down about 4 inches and out popped my second gold class ring I've found with my X-Terra. 10k Jostens weighing 15.45 grams.

I was in all metal using the 10in MF DD coil.

Thanks for looking!

sweeeet, you found a class ring... I hope you try to track down the owner. I'm sure they would love to have it back.

The first class ring I found had the person's name on it so I found her on Facebook and returned it. This one just has initials so I'll see what I can do.

Very Nice...In beautiful condition. Heck of a find:clapping:
Out of 9 class rings found, I still have 2 that I could not return...... School alumni board, library, or reunion group can be a big help.

Great find , looks to be in great condition , well done !

Nice find! Hold onto it for a little bit juts to enjoy the sweetness. Then in a few days when it wears off, find the owner. They waited this long for it after all lol

Excellent advice! I think I'll do that.

Jostons can help find the owner. They keep all those records I think.... They even have a ring lost and found page somewhere. They are located about 15 miles from me in Owatonna, MN.
