Second silver ring at the old homeplace

I hunted for about 20 minutes and found this right in the middle of the yard where I have searched many times. It was about four inches down, all tangled in fine roots. It's a little bent up and skewed but I'll take it. Any ideas on what era?

Is it marked? Newer rings are frequently marked 925. Older rings are frequently umarked or marked "sterling" "sterling silver" "s silver" "ster".

I just spied the mark in your photo. I'd guess older but that is just a guess. It is a great find!

Ask around in your family.

This isn't exactly the same but has a few similarities. Possibly by the same maker?

1950's friendship ring by Uncas mfg. co.
