Second siver quarter!!

Another beautiful day in southwestern lower michigan.I headed back to a place I tried hunting in the summer but the skeeters wouldnt allow it,well now there pretty much gone!! This place is unique because its been a park for a good many years, and also had an early 1800's bog ore foundery in it,it also is over 160 acres big.The ltd done an excellent job of unmasking this quarter,it was under a piece of ore,it would show the ore than give a whisper of a nonferrous metal.Once I removed the first couple of inches of dirt,I got a very repeatable high tone, dug down about three more inches and out popped the 57 quarter(the year i was born) I still find it amazing how silver coins 5-6 inches in the ground pop out like they where dropped yesterday!!! hh rick in mi.

You are on a roll! Nice work hearing that pip! What tones are you running, Rick?
You are 2 years older than me, how are you holding up?

Haha mud 3h tones,disc.6,sens.80,

After getting through the ore did the sound and id numbers start feeling familiar, like I said. Couple days apart, youre gonna get spoiled quick. I know what you mean about the silver coming out so nice- wait till you get some Barbers, they often not only are nice and shiny but the designs on them are so striking youll really enjoy it and the mercurys are like a milky shine. Youll see. Good Hunting, CO.

Yes osgood, the numbers stabilized, and I was more confident with what the f75 was trying to tell me.I also found a barber earlier this year, and yes it to was in good shape(1916) I also have 3 mercs and 1 rosie, all found with the LTD....hh rick in mi.
