Second time out with F70 and 2 silvers

silver seeker

New member
Finally got a chance for a short hunt tonight. Went to a local park that has given up silver in the past. Found some clad, alot of junk, and two keepers - a 1950 Rosie and a 1943 S war nickel. My first silver with the F70. Both coins were "iffy" signals, they both registered 5-6 inches deep, so I decided to dig, since I'm learning this machine, so glad I did. Also both coins were IDing all over the place. Increasing sens did make the signal sound better. Well, I learned a lot tonight, and I will be back there soon, HH.

Well thats great work for a new machine and a short hunt! What a rush eh? :clapping:

Nice job on the silvers. Nickels with a little depth seem to be a little bouncy on the F 70/75's. On my F 75 the bounce seems to be fairly tight, though, if I get a good pin point. Like 27-33-34, with several 29-31 readings throughout the bouncy numbers. Good luck. HH jim tn
