Seeded Hunt

What is the average price you pay to go on a competition hunt?
(seeded hunt). I am in the works to obtain a large area to run one here in South East Wisconsin. More input from those that go to these events would be great. I hope to tie it in with the local food pantry as a charity event.

Well the average competition hunt entrance fee is based on how many coins and prizes there will be. Just calculate how much silver your going to plant and then how much your going to spend on prizes then tack on what your expenses will be to get the whole event going (advertisements, and other expenses.) Where are you going to have the hunt? I live in Chicago and would'nt mind making the trip if it's close enough. A couple of friends from my detecting club would probably go to.

It will be in Racine County if all goes well. I am in the process of contacting several different areas and seeing who wants what for me to hold it there. Some have bathrooms and shade some dont. I am looking at a late summer hunt or early fall after the major heat is gone.
