Out in California,a detective was lookin for a .45 automatic that was used in a homicide...In the course of the investigation;he got a tip it might be buried in a location in an old ammo box...WELL:The detective enlisted the help of a Metal Detecting club in California to look for it-They had the guy that found it tell how it only took him about half an hour to find the ammo box, with the missing.45 auto in it,and live ammo for it,too...It was forensically linked to a suspect they figured did it,but had no proof.SO:Thanks to a M/D ing club,a criminal was brought to justice 15 years after the crime. The detective said"If it wasnt for that M/D ing club finding the murder weapon, they would have NEVER nailed the guy"...OK:Have any of y'all out there ever been involved with finding anything connected with a crime scene??
