the depth on in air testing is as follows .
12x10 coil .
on a 925 silver half crown i get an extra 2 inches depth.
but when i use a 6x3inch sheet of sliver i get an extra 6 inches .
sheet is about .5mm thick.
no in ground tests done yet ,but will soon when the weather dries up a bit.using the same test samples
