WTG on the old coins again. Good looking Merc's and one real old Wheatie. That ring looks like it's an oldie and the Lake must be and oldie also. Nice finds again and congratulations, I can't imagine burning the candle at both ends but your really hooked on detecting and it appears the water is your forte.

Man Bruce you've got to have more rings than Brodkeys(jeweler) by now. I used to polish rings at Black Hills gold factory, really makes em shine, have you tried any buffing?

You sure know how to find great items and in quantity, that is for sure. I think you are taking too many keepers and hope the treasure Warden doesn't catch you. You need to start practicing catch and release! Just Kidding! It just blows my mind at all the great finds you keep coming up with. Let's just hope you have many more great trips to that lake before they fill it up again. WTG with all those finds MrChile! I also see you found a 1915-s Wheat Penny. I found one on Sunday myself and it is a better year and mint-mark to find. I like the snake ring also. Good Luck and HH and at this endless honey-hole of yours.

The local cops spot light me as they drive by - looking for homeless people or vandals.

But I'am invisable to them. They came down to the water one night to watch me at work - Remember I'am in 3' to 4' of water with the Excal!

I showed them the ropes. Explained how I clean up the lake bottom.

I will post the trash tomorrow night.

This is a different lake than the drained lake James.

The water level is the highest it's been in years at this lake

It has just started dropping about a foot a week -

It's seems that there is new stuff brought up along the shore from the waves every day.

This is one of the biggest natural lakes in california.
