There were two Shadow X2 models made concurrently that had slightly different transmit frequencies, one that was 10 khz and the other was 9.6 khz. The different frequencies were so friends, or husband and wife, could buy different frequency X2's and hunt alongside each other without interference. Other than the frequency they were identical, but a "Lady Shadow" decal was included in the box when a new Shadow was bought that could be put on either frequency model so a husband and wife, boy friend and girl friend, or even two guy friends, who had X2's could tell them apart
. Or if anyone just wanted their X2 to be a female. Any Shadow X2 could be made into a Lady Shadow by putting the decal on, or left as a Man Shadow by leaving it off.
