I am loving this thing on the end of my F70.

Today I was using my silver coin shooting settings in an old park that has been scoured since time began but still gives up a goodie here and there.
Never tried these before with the Sharpshooter.
Thresh maxed, Sense maxed, DE speed, Disc maxed up to 65 and mostly in 1 tone but changed to 3 tones before I hit this thing.
Also notched in nickels because I am still a gold hunter so just for my piece of mind if not for any other reason....those "what if's" ya know.
Pretty safe doing that here, even old nickels that are deeper at 4-5"+ up average into the 80's to 90's here because of the iron and mineralized dirt so I figured I would get those if I ran over any.
I didn't figure on this one coming along, it was a V nickel but no more than 1/2" deep just below the grass so a normal 32 nickel number.
Once again luck made me notch in that particular area today, I could have set it for foil instead or nothing.
I use these settings because upping the disc that high kills most noise and chatter.
The thresh and gain settings can be used to mitigate chatter but guess what...so can the disc.
I found that notching in one thing usually doesn't add much noise at all if any, notching in more than one it starts to get more noisy chatty especially with the thresh maxed out.
Hunting in such a quiet environment the better signals seem to stand out for me and today it worked.
I came across several higher conductive coins today too, nothing old, a quarter, a few dimes and mostly copper cents but this nickel was the prize of the day.
This was an extremely short beep, I figure it was standing on edge and I quickly went past it but came back when I heard that very short but pretty solid tone.
Sounded good and sharp with this coil even as short and quick as it was.
So again I must say no site is ever hunted out and sniper coils rule!
