Sherry's first pet bird, 'Pokey', a cockatiel, passed away sometime today..

Pete in MI

New member
would have been 28 years old this month. Sherry is taking this hard. So many trials within a short time, this is the 2nd pet bird we have lost in about a week.

I refuse to say 'what next' and give Satan a chance to show us anything more. Been so confusing around here I missed making a payment on something and didn't realize it til today when they said the service would be shut off tomorrow. I usually am not that scatter brained. Got arraingements made to keep the service going. Feels like the inside of a tornado around here. Sure am glad God is still in control....'cuz I sure haven't been in much control of anything lately.

Please pray for Sherry's comfort in her loss and our loss...we will all miss 'Pokey'.

Pokey is on the left (Trapper is the yellow on the right and Klinger is the other grey on the right).

Losing pets can be a tough thing. You are both in our prayers!

I'm so sorry for the loss of Pokey; such a beautiful bird!

Please tell Sherry that I share in her sorrow.

Will be praying for you and your family, Pete

God will take care of you

So sorry to hear about Pokey and I know Sherry is very sad over the loss of her pet bird! You both are in my prayers and by standing firm to Jesus in the storm you will come through to His brightness breaking up the dark clouds of unhappines! The Joy of the Lord is our strength! I pray for Jesus' comforting arms to hold Sherry in His everlasting, loving arms in her sorrow and concerning her mom!

God Bless You Both!
