Shery admitted to hospital just moments ago...

Pete in MI

New member
She has been having pressure on her chest and doing anything made it hard to breath. I had to work so her sister came up from Lansing to here tp pick Sherry up and go to an ER in Midland. She has had many tests already this morning...no pneumonia, was told no heart problem, they were doing tests to see if it might be blood clots. She had a test d-dimer or something like that for clots and came back elevated..them a different doctor took over and catscan, etc was done. We do not know what is going on but they are know keeping her.

Please pray for her to be properly diagnosed and proper treatment is given.

God bless
Pete

Here's the little I know about D-dimer tests. An elevated d-dimer does not automatically mean a blood clot. Inflammation, infections and a few other conditions can cause such a result. It does mean, however, that conditions are right for a clot or that the clotting sequence is in progress. An elevated result always means more tests and I am sure that's why the cat scan was ordered. Even with small, superficial clots (non-threatening), d-dimer results are negative a lot of times. You all have our prayers. Hang in there....Satan can try, but he can't get ya!

Praying for Sherry to have a good diagnosis and treatment to be on the way to renewed health and strength in Jesus' virtuous healing touch for her and that all will be well with her and you, also, Pete! Prayers for peace and comfort with His loving arms wrapped around you both! Amen! Ma Betty

Not late since she is still in the hospital...they still don't know why she cannot breathe without having an O2 line blowing oxygen into her.

Praying now....Dan
