Shooting in a howling blizzard!

Got up this am early and checked the forums, then the local news..some guy got shot Saturday like normal, the picture showed a policeman out in the blizzard with a detector marking evidence! I figured that was a sign for me to go! It was a balmy 6 degrees when I left the house, ran the F70 over the local sledding hill got 2 Q's and a N. Then the sun started to come up and it got colder like usual, I wonder why that happens but it does! All of a sudden, I heard a big "whump" right behind me, as if somebody dropped a bundle of shingles or a bag of concrete. I woke up face down in the snow, sort of rolled over and it was then that I noticed I had just froze my butt off!

to bad you dont have wings you could fly south for the winter and follow jim around, at least you gave it a go and found a few coins hh

I asked the same thing about it getting colder before it got warmer and a farmer told me it was the cold thermals warming and rising up from the ground and going right thru your bones on the way to the sun.

Yeah...this winter has been like Groundhog day ....same old gray and cold snow day after day after day...I'm wondering about this sledding hill...theres hardly any targets like there should be...I hope it is not a sign of things to come....I really HOPE somebody else is sweeping it, because if they are not, people arnt carrying and losing pocketfulls of money any more.

I have a great sledding hill near my house on the backside of the high school's property. I wonder if I can go hunt that, or if I need permission from the school? (Or do I just go and find out later if I need permission?) LOL

Anyway, thanks for the great idea!!!!!

I doubt anyone would care that you dug a few holes in the snow, and then filled 'em back up...just gotta get there early before the sledders do, work the lower third of the hill, dig all signals, you can also find stuff at the very top, where people stand around or go to sit on a sled or toboggan...its really easy, you get a nickle signal, definitely go after that one, especially if theres a place where people would stand and perhaps take pictures...I dont know the orientation of this hill of yours, but you know folks like to keep the sun at their back when they take pictures, and they pull off their gloves!.(rings)..so think about that...
