Hunted a plowed field where they knocked down a house a little over a year ago, just got a few doo-dads, a clay pipe bowl, and a marble. the iron was everywhere so I headed down the road and came across this big house in the pic. Notice the yard was all bulldozed up! SCREEEECH!!!!! Two knocks on doors later and secured permission. :) Very trashy but with persistance the goodies are there. Only had an hour so didn't get much, but will go back.
Got an old Navy button, 3 wheats 46, 38, and 27 a 1957 nickel, an old Dodge Matchbox truck, and the old buckle with the heart shape on it. There has got to be some silver and Indians there!

Hey Mike, how big is the Navy button? Looks like one off a dress uniform jacket or Pea Coat. Like the Matchbox truck. As I said, I had almost all of those cars when I was a kid. Wish I still had them. Back then I would get them for $1.00 or so a piece new, now they are highly collectable. I have two left.

Nice going Mike and the early bird (who asks permission) gets the worm....errr the goodies and I am sure there is some silver and possibly gold there plus more wheaties and maybe some Indians! Congrats & God Bless! Betty

of a penny. I wish I had my old cars too!

I am currently working on getting permission at to old homes. I am sure I will need assistance to cover all the area, I'll give you a call.

Maybe you will find the silver next time you're there! Along with some other great treasures!
