Short hunt tonight...

and hit the "wheat field" again...found: 2 clad dimes, 1943 Merc, 2 clad nickels, 1929 Buffalo Nickel, 3 memorial cents and eight wheat cents(1920-1944). Love hunting in Feb, but that wind tonight had me shaking!! Not going to find "older" coins as this was a hot spot in the 20's - 40"s.
 
Nice finds Jack and at least in February the bugs aren't out. Sure hate the wind, I think I can take the cold but not the wind. Seems to go right thru me for some reason. Keep hitting it, could be some large ones still in there.
 
Glad to see that the spot is still producing for you. Can't wait until I can join on the finds posts this season. May you have the best of luck on your next outing.
