Short park hunt, great day, another Avery piece!

Made a short hunt, 3 hrs, at a local park. Although, I only found a small number of items, it was a great day. Only found $1.05 in clad, a costume earring (it does say 925 on the bar, does that mean just the bar is silver?) and a beautiful James Avery silver cross. This makes two James Avery pieces I have found in the last month! I'm very pleased!

The take:

You can probably imagine how I felt when I saw a small edge of this earring in the loose soil....just knew I had found my first gold!!:

Go Roland,
Although we are buried in snow and ice we can admire your finds. Looks like a great hunt.
Keep getting out there and looking.

No doubt about it, godigit, that bracelet is a James Avery! Really nice find, congrats. When and where did you dig it? Just curious how long it may have been in the ground and whether it was in a park or at a beach, etc. In any case, the Avery stuff is quality.

I got it about a week ago at a fair grounds here in Ca, It was a recent drop as it was close to the surface Only about a quarter inch down. Tried to give it to my girlfriend but she didn't want it so I ended up giving it to one of here friends for Christmas. I looked it up and found it on the web site after your post and it is a child's model for $59 new!
Thanks Again
HH
