Should be getting an Ace 250 today

I have read alot of great posts about the Ace 250, so I ordered one last week. My back has all but "gone out", so I wanted to replace my MXT with the Ace, due to the features and light weight. I primarily relic and water hunt, but I have 2 water machines. I hope the Ace will get decent depth for relics.......

You replaced your MXT???????
What did you do with it?
If you sold it I hope you got a good price.

It's on e-bay right now. If my health would let me continue using it, I would never sell it. But if I can't use it, it isn't doing me any good. Rheumatoid and Degenerative Disc Desease in my back have almost removed me from the hobby, but I plan on goin' down swingin'!!(a lighter machine).

You got a nice light metal detector that has found countless keepers. Lots of guys have hung up their machines and switched to the ACE for the same reasons you stated. Good Luck! :)

you will love it we use it right along beside M6 wife and I trade back and forth due to the weight of the M6 I have 2 bulging Discs in my back.keep swinging Roadking never give up.

Thanks, RoadKing! It didn't come today, so I hope tomorrow will be the day.

Thanks, John! The way my back has been aching for the last few days, I hope I can swing the Ace!

G'day Tesoronut.
good luck with the Ace. Just remember, it speaks a different language to the whites, so you'll need to allow yourself time to adjust to the new tones. It took me a bit, but it was worth while.
If you hunt in salt water, I'd recommend that you knock out the bottom 3 notches, and reduce your sensitivity to 5 bars. The Ace doesn't have a ground balance feature, but setting it up like this will help to compensate for it.
Mick Evans.

Thank y'all again for the helpful posts! I'm going to the woods today to get some firewood up to the house. That should be alot of fun............

Yeah a real blast. When I lived in No rthern Idaho we had a wood furnace so we would go up in the woods and cut and load a three-quarter ton pickup heaping full of firewood. I know te feeling.
