Should I go for a E-trac/Explorer...?

I was the only one on the rallies in England with my 705.
Is it time to step up to the big brothers E-TRAC or Explorer..? I love the x-terra 705 for its low energy costs and lightness. But is thus machines better, really??! Do I find more, deeper targets? I don't know...give me a reason not to go for the more expensive heavier detectors..

Hello EOS I have and use X-Terra 70, Quattro, and a Sovereign XS, if I had to get rid of 2 of them, I would get rid of the X-Terra 70 and Quattro. The Sovereign to me is more stable and it can handle ground with iron better then the other 2 and it goes deep. I have found coins down a 12 inches deep.

E-trac is a bit easier to learn and more user friendly. SE pro however is cheaper. Holler I can help you with questions on either and make you a heck of a deal!

I went from an xterra 70 to Explorer II and have never looked back.
It is a much heavier machine and in my opinion, better after market coils.
I have pretty high mineralized ground where I hunt and the EX II seems to do a much better job.

I just miss the weight of the 70 on those long hunts.
