today was first day of deer black powder. Not really looking for modern airborne minnies

Yeah I hear you. This time of year, I only go out on Sundays. I no longer like to be out there when the lead is flying. Too many yahoos who don't know how to hunt.

I dig sometimes during bow season always wear orange vest and see how many vehicles are around. I dont want to interfere with their huntin and dont wanna be their target

Hey Lodge Scent is there no hunting(critters) on Sunday where you are?

That is correct Okie. Up here in MA, no hunting on Sundays. As a hunter myself, I have always supported that regulation. At least 1 day a week during the fall and winter, a family with young kids and a dog should be able to get out in the woods without having to worry about stray lead ruining their day.

That's interesting:unsure: not sure if that would fly in my neck of the woods!
