Show of the Depth of the Deus

I rarely post here anymore but I do read most posts. In the past I have seen many potential Deus owners asking about the depth a Deus has.

Last evening I had a good show of depth and I thought of those who question it.

This one was just a single wheat cent but in the hole above it was the foil you can see and then with the coin were the two pieces of iron. You all know how a situation like this could easily mask a deep coin, not with the Deus. I have seen this happen many times but you look my TRX is probably 1-1/2 inches below the grass. The coin and the iron were at the bottom. This was a one-way signal but the sweet tone was there. Of course at that depth and trash the numbers were not the greatest but that's one of the things a Deus could be improved on and I am hoping that the Update will address it.

Settings were using the 11" coil but I have also owned the 9" and it has also hit this deep with similar situations.

This 11" coil seems to do better with any EMI than my previous 11" or 9" coils I have owned but maybe its just me thinking so.

8 KILOHERTZ
DISC 8
FULL TONES
SENSITIVITY 99 ON TX POWER 1
REACTIVITY 1
SILENCER -1
0 NOTCH
TRACKING ON RUNNING AT 86

Hope this helps someone out who has douts.

Good post - I'm using the 9" coil and was recently surprised at finding a 9" Wheat. I had some doubts as to its depth vs the 11" coil, but no more! I'm hoping the 9" coil unmasks a little better because of the smaller footprint - but that 11" coil was astonishing amongst the trash!

Can't go wrong with either coil IMO!

Thank you,

The Deus is a very good machine, it takes time to get proficient with it but it's well worth the effort.
