Finally shook the chest cold that lasted over a month and got out today for the first time since November 4th.
uke:
Had to relearn my "ear" but was able to dig a few items out. The most interesting was the copper ring at top which appears to have been covered in gold leaf, which flaked off while I was cleaning it. I wonder what someone paid for that. It was not marked on the inside so at least it wasn't a total fraud. The class ring has only partial school initials visible but a name on the inside so I will see if I can find her in the phone book, even though the ring is from 1993.
Small band is 14K. Been finding quite a few of these tiny, narrow bands. For kids? Toes?
Seems like the beach sand has been moved around over the past month because I am finding things where I have searched before, so I am going to return tomorrow and see what comes up.
