Sick Pro Pointer

My Pro Pointer beeps when no metal around, put a new battery in and made sure the 9volt was getting good contact, no change, guess I'll have to break the tinytec out til I get it fixed, common problem I see.

Did you wash all the crud off the tip to make sure you didn't have metals there?

Oh yeah I did everything I could to try and eliminate the problem.

Have you tried putting a quarter in the battery cap to add pressure to the battery connections? I had a ProPointer chattering when waving it around, and the quarter resolved it. martin

Hey CJ I will not regret it, of course it's married to the unit, but I can say I works great not to mention it makes the unit look beefy and tactical very cool accessory to have, trust me I traded my Atpro to get back to the 350/sunray probe! Hank350

I had my pp tactically mounted, i'd like to keep one along with a sunray, yeah I did the quarter istall
