After several months of running a Deus I finally noticed something most of you probably already knew. The ferrous side of the horseshoe does not register unless you have some disc set. In my case, where am, it takes a minimum disc of +5.6.

Never was too quick on the uptake. :huh:
 
i thought disc had to be at least 6.7 in order for the horse shoe to work properly. thats where XP sets the minimum disc on most of their stock programs.
