Silly question

Long time Whites user new ATG user.

Why would you use IRON AUDIO? Wouldn't most rather just silence it? What's the reason for hearing it?

Check Garretts videos on you tube. But to explain a little if you have the iron audio off and run your coil over an old bottle cap it will often sound the same and have the same VDI as a quarter. If you turn the iron audio on the detector will "grunt" at the beginning and end of the tone. Garretts videos explain it better then I do. Find a bottle cap and do an air test with the audio on and off you will then hear the difference.

[size=large]As flyin-lowe said but i find it don't always work and ya still get a bottle cap. seems the brand of beverage may make a differance at times.
