Yes those black coins are silver. They get pretty ugly next to these inland lakes but the gold ring looks great still. That's a 14 karat men's wedding band.

You know this is the time to hit the Lk MI beachs and water. We had the big blows that should have churned up some goodies. I just can't bear the thought of getting wet in this weather though.

Neil those are nice finds. I especially like the ring on the far bottom right. Do you think it's older?
 
I do a lot of beaches in the W.N.Y. area and know whay ya mean about the blackened coins(silvers) and the clads, they won't come clean.......Great job on the rings though ........
