It's hard to read the roman numerals but does the ring have an 1899 date on it? Very sweet finds

Ring was 1891... the date the school opened.......was engraved inside
and belongs to the owner they're on vacation and the Wife's babysitting.... almost had $287 melt
And the big disc didn't have a hole or I would have figured washer
but I can't see any markings...
