Silver bell I found yesterday but it got chewedf up by a mower.

ya don't often find bells out hunting nice find  yeah those dam mowers stuff heaps of the cool things i find to :ranting:

Is it silver or silver colored? Either way, cool find. Is the striker intact?

Chris

Chris,

Are you sure that's a bell? It looks more like a candle snuffer with a missing handle. How big is it?

Just a thought,
Steve

Awesome find!:thumbup:Congrats on the silver!:cheers:I wonder what those markings/design means? Probably just decoration:shrug:Happy Hunting:)

I didn't find it. UW did. I thought candle snuffer to that's why I asked if the striker was inside.

Chris

I had it cocked in the scanner so all the design didn't show. It's a circle with a quarter moon on each end. Have no idea what it represents.

Bill

It's nice and clean and shiny on the underside. There's an opening in the top where the clapper or whatever hung or existed.

Bill

I stand corrected, it is a bell.

This is made in India. you can use this during your ceremonies, rituals, office, dinner table, or just for decoration

Better watch out Willy, The occult who lost it might come looking for it.

Thanks a bunch bud. Nice to see what the whole thing looked like. I thought maybe it was the type of bell used at the dinner table when the rich folks wished to summon the cook, butler, or whatever. Wish I could have found the rest of it but the mower probably scattered it all over creation.
