My hunting buddy and I hit a new spot today and found some keepers. The site was a big old house in a small town that is now several apartments. My first coin was a clad kennedy half dollar at about 4 inches. Nothing special but alwas fun finding those big coins. Next came a sweet high coin reading at 6 inches and it turned out being a 43 mercury dime. Hitting silver so early in the hunt gets me stoked for more and this yard didn't let me down. My next signal was deep, just under 8 inches according to my cz5....Yep, another silver...1934 walking Liberty half ! It's been awhile since I found a Walker and it is always exciting seeing those big old silver coins in the hole. I found 2 more mercury dimes and a 52 rosie dime along the sidewalk area. As I was getting ready to leave and heading to the car I got another good signal that turned out to be a silver ring with a heart shaped stone. Total finds were 4 silver dimes, silver half dollar, silver ring, clad half dollar, a token, a handfull of clad dimes ,quarters and nickels, and thos nasty old zincoln pennies. We only hunted a small part of the yard today so a few more trips are in the future. Happy Hunting..............Roger
