It has been long hot summer and I couldn't wait until it was over because I got permission to hunt a 180 year old farm house. I didn't want to take the chance damaging the yard so I decide to wait until fall and now digging is perfect with no worries. I got exclusive permission and I can go anytime I want and do not have to worring about the owners being there. I knew there would be a lot iron there so I decided to use my 6 inch coil. Here is what I have I found so far: a 1929 Standing Liberty Quarter ( really nice condition), 2 merc (1937 and 1941), 1951 Rosie, 1945 P silver war nickle,1891 Indian, couple wheats, 1934 Little Orphane Annie good luck coin and what I believe is either a ornate copper buckle or brooch. The yard is pretty large and it will take me some time to cover it all so I am hoping to find some more good finds with my Explorer SE Pro.
