Silver mine gives up 3 more

Went back to the yard which has given up 24 silver coins so far this year. Thought could be a few more silver coins there. Dug up a silver quarter first so I was right! 2 Mercury Dimes showed up as well. One is damaged, I thought I did it but the coin is damaged in other places than the date. A few Wheats were found as well. Now this yard has produced 27 total silver coins.

That is one great yard. There may be some more coins hiding around the perimeter or under shrubs, etc. Hope you can keep working it. Way to go and HH.

TokenDigger's advice is spot on. Don't forget about those obscure spots where you might not expect to make finds. That's a lot of silvers for one yard, it would be interesting to know the history of the place and why so many were dropped there. Here's to your continued success.

Did talk to the owner and in the side yard where the half and a pocket full of silver coins were found he said they played volleyball and croquet there. The back yard is very large and I imagine there football and other sports were played there as well. Home was built in 1920 so not a lot of really old coins, but will take any dated silver...
