Got out this weekend with 54Shooter to a school we have not hunted before. The school has some old oaks in a row near the tot lot and a couple of other old oaks along the fence. The row of trees is so full of trash, I thought my detector was having seizures.:laughing: I moved to the other two old oak trees by the fence and began hearing the low grunts of nails. I switched to a reactivity of three and increased the iron volume so I could hear the squeaks of good signals between the nails. Got a choppy high tone and out popped a 1918 S Mercury dime in great condition. A few feet away got the 1941 Canada Penny, and the Sterling ring came from a field at another school. We both got lots of clad and pull tabs as well. Thanks again for the fun day 54Shooter. HH.
