Greetings from Australia
I had a nice weekend hunting an old school where I got permission to hunt. The school opened in the very early 1900's and I was pleasantly surprised at the silver coins I found one of which was a 1910 King Edward VII threepence. 1910 is the year that Australia first had its own coins (minted in London). Also dug up a big silver Florin (50% silver) plus a couple others. I managed about $20 in loose change plus all the old coins in three hours. Then on Sunday, I spent an hour and a half and went home with a silver shilling and about $9.00. Bountiful and rewarding weekend. Here are some pics and a video of the hunt.
Cheers
