Simplex-initial thoughts-some test targets

Earlier in the week I acquired a new Simplex setup. I’ve taken it to a site I’m very familiar with and have hunted many times. It was able to sniff out some good targets from moderate iron using the sp24 coil. Here’s a video in the test garden.

I could add a couple other observations from my short time with it so far. It’s much more stable in its field mode than say the kruzer wearing the same size coil in it’s 2 tone mode, yet it seems to have the same depth roughly.
Also, for lack of better term, it has less what I’m calling iron resolution than the kruzer. In denser iron, the iron audio becomes somewhat jumbled. The recovery is good and fast in park 2. The iron segment just seems to blur up its reports. No complaints though yet as it seems to lock on to non ferrous pretty good amidst the iron.
simplex first full hunt tomorrow morning.

Keep on trucking sir, let us know what you figure out. I like what you've found out so far.
