Simplex On-Off switch.

My on off switch seems to need extra pressure at times.

I would have thought a light touch would have been enough not a hard prolonged one.?

Your thoughts appreciated.

Thanks.

Jerry.

The buttons have been made to withstand the water pressure while under water so the water pressure doesn't accidentally set off one of the buttons. That is why the buttons are firmer than on a non-waterproof detector.

Hi TinCanBeach. I like your sense of humor its a bit like mine.;).

I must admit the on/off button has improved with use.(y)

Happy Hunting,

Jerry.

The equinox buttons are not hard to press though. How deep would you have to go underwater for water pressure to actually compress the buttons?. Deeper than 10 foot I would guess.
