sing sided headphones

Is there any other brands of single sided headphones available besides the Gray Ghost rat's.

Garrett's makes a great one. It's one sided with a nice coil wire that does not get tangled or in the way when hunting. Check it out at Garrettcentral.com.

Thanks everyone. I need a pair for safety. Some of the places I hunt I are a little shaky. I carry pepper spray.

Doug,
Once on the Garrett.com website, go to products.......accessories.......headphones. Here you will see these headphones which are presently on sale. Good luck.

When you made a mistake and wrote "sing sided headphones" (instead of single) you gave me an idea. It is to have soft music piped in the background of my X-70 while hunting in Coin & Treasure Mode. Custom wire-in an MP3 or CD player, turn the volume down very low and listen to music while detecting! I would not do this in Prospecting Mode because the threshold needs to be listened to very carefully but in C & T Mode it would be OK!

For single-cup headphones: Gray Ghost Rattler, and also the Killer B Stinger. Killer B will do custom work like adding a Limiter on/off Switch to the Stinger, but Gray Ghost will not do custom work.

Gray Ghost's website: www dot detectorpro dot com / headphones

Killer B's website: thrpro dot com

OR do as I do, while wearing a baseball type cap, use dual-cup headphones and only put one cup on my right ear and the other cup off of my left ear. Also with 2 volume controls you can turn the left ear cup volume completely off, using only the right one.

Sorry David for the misspelling it was late and I was tired.
I'm looking at all aspects and I am not liking the cost on the single sides phones, heck they cost as much as a set of good duel ones.
I'm even thinking of removing one cup of a cheep set from Radio Shack ones and making some type of pad on that side.
