Sixpence in my pocket

Found a few coins while out today, a 1947 Rosie and a 1944 sixpence from England, someone's coin collection must have made its way down to the park and got distributed with the clad in the park. Luckily I was there to find it, same settings as before only making minor adjustments since we finally got some rain. Disc 22 sens 60 thres -2, found 56 coins in 3 hours was a really nice morning out, still swinging the F70 like a mad. I posted this earlier and something happened to it so I am reposting it.

Great job on the silver and the sixpence! :clapping: Our season is changing fast up here...grass is really soaking wet in the am, signals get sort of squirrelly when theres frost on it. We have the Bassmasters tournament in town this weekend and I plan on giving the weigh in area a furious sweep as soon as they leave. Plus, I check all the HS football schedules and hit those stadiums hard early Sat. For some reason, I really like a sens of 52, -3 thresh, 1 disc...probably because I've run that so much, the audio fedback tells me what it is and approx how deep...the 3" coins are perfect, the fresh dropped dimes in deep wet grass are tough to find and stab sometimes. Its cool enough for me to start working the high sand too, hiking up the steep dunes and finding the little hidey holes and party spots is tough to do in the heat, or anytime else for that matter, after all is said and done, clad grabbing on flat surfaces is the most profitable, fast and fun!. Nice work, I like reading your posts!

Nice Ayeti65
That is some great detecting. I like your settings also. Nice coin collecting and you are really getting splendid results with that F70. Which I think is one of the finest coin hunting detectors made.
I dropped the Disc to 20 because I want to give my nickle type signals more room to show up. I also like Sens@60,Thresh@-3. I have been using Tones@4H when a zinc tone comes in it is really noticeable. I use the 6.5" coil almost 100% of the time. It is just a great coil.
Ayeti65 you are an inspiration to us all. Keep it up.....Happy Trails .....Z

Thanks guys the weather finally turned here to temps you can stand to be outside in, for me the season don't start until the fall and go through the winter and the lake when the water levels goes down and exposes the beach.
