The streak continues I have never found a silver or gold ring in a tot lot and today was no different. Got out early today as the local weather guesser said was going to a warm one. The playground I was at should of had a ring or two hiding in it but the escaped me, this playground was huge filled with everything you could imagine to empty anyone's pockets of goodies. There was clad a plenty as I found over 5.00 in a couple of hours the digging was easy the lot was covered with small wood chips. I checked any and all signals found bobbie pins, foil, tabs, can slaw, kids ear rings, pendants but no rings. I use the stock coil on my DeLeon and it will not let me get to close to the poles on the play equipment even if I crank it down. Anyway kids started showing up to play so I figured I would lose more stuff for another day and I moved to a near by soccer field found the side line and started swinging. The very first good target was a solid silver signal I figured it was a quarter on the surface pin pointed and started probing hmmm no quarter thought I missed it so rechecked it and still there and still strong probed a little deeper and hit something solid pulled it out of the ground and wow a large silver ring it is a very heavy size 11.
