Slow Day for Coins Good Day for Jewelry

I was out swinging the CZ-7 again today and I dug what I thought was a Junk costume jewelry Clip-On Earring. The kind like my mother wore in the 50's. It was caked with mud and I didn't think anything about it just dropped it in the pouch with assorted nails, coins and other trash.
Got home and going thru my finds I decided to clean a few things and just fooling around I was looking at the back and low and behold under the clip it said 14KT
PBD SS. After some reasearch I found the PBD stands for Peter Brams designs. A Jewelry designer/Maker in New York that specializes in Sterling Silver and Gold Jewelry. So best I can tell is the Rope/Knot part is sterling silver and the ball in the middle is 14K. Surprise Surprise.

I also dug a .925 Silver Band ring

Good day for Jewelry
