Slow going on the beach this week

I've been out twice this week and boy is there not much out there to find. I did however find my first two rings of the season. The first one was a very neat small blueish ring with the Lord's Prayer inscribed on it. The second one, I found this morning, is a spinner ring. I have never even seen one before. It is huge! I also found a little owl earring and $1.29 of clad. Hope everyone is having a great week!

Looks like they both might be stainless. I found a size 13.5 last year! I like the dark ring. Congrats!!!!

City beach, but Monday there were four other detectorist out there when I was out. No telling how many more came in the afternoon. Never did oval beach, that's in Saugatuck right?

Both rings are neat - I have one just like the ss one but it's not huge & doesn't spin. The more I detect the more I realize how much others miss. Go get em !

The 'Oval Park' I was referring to is the Grand Haven State Park next to the Grand Haven City Beach. Oh...by the way...have you detected between the condo's next to the city beach and between the condo's and the restaurant south of them? I have gone early in the morning, in years past, and found a lot of coins but no jewelry. Also you can detect the beach area in front of the restaurant, where they have the outdoor bar in the summer.

Yes, I hit all those areas regularly. At least three times a week. I'm usually out there very early in the morning and wake up the people sleeping on the beach. They don't like me too much. You have to be careful about parking, if it's before 6am, you can be towed away very easily.
